Jane Baldridge

Jane Baldridge

Jane Baldridge graduated magna cum laude in 1976 from Olivet University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education (Applied Major: Piano). She has over 35 years experience teaching piano, accompanying and serving as church pianist.

From 2002-2009, she traveled yearly to Indianapolis, IN, teaching one-week workshops in piano pedagogy, hymn improvisation and music history at the International Academy of Music. She currently teaches a yearly two-week piano pedagogy workshop at Verity Institute in Indianapolis.

Jane enjoys professional involvement with other musicians as an active member of the La Crosse Area Music Teachers Association and affiliated national and state organizations (WMTA, MTNA).

She attends workshops and conventions, gleaning new ideas to improve her teaching skills, and holds the professional title “Nationally Certified Teacher of Music” (NCTM), from the Music Teacher’s National Association. She also serves as organist at her church, and is a member of the American Guild of Organists.
